Rapid Response is a safety net program for college students with foster care experience that quickly addresses the challenges threatening a youth's ability to transition through college.
Our goal is to eliminate barriers that hinder current and former foster youth from continuing with their post-secondary education.
Through the generous support of our donors, Rapid Response is offering rent assistance FREE of cost to eligible college students with foster care experience.
Applicants must have the following documents available to complete the application:
- Proof of foster care
- Proof of college enrollment
- Proof of photo identification
- Copy of housing lease/contract - applicant's full name and address must be on the lease/contract
To apply, please complete the form below and upload the necessary verification documents.
- The applicant's name must be on the lease or contract for that apartment.
- Payments will only be payable to the landlord or rental company listed on the lease documents. Funding will not be released directly to applicants.
- Home mortgage payments or down payments on a home are not covered by this program.
- Housing insurance payments are not covered by this program.
- Funds cannot be used to cover anyone else in the home beyond the applicant.
- Funding is not guaranteed and this program holds the right to refuse or deny any funding requests.
